Prof. Dr. Christian Keysers

Promotion und Habilitation in Neuropsychologie

Nach seinem Studium der Psychologie und Biologie in Konstanz, Bochum und Boston schrieb er seine Dissertation am Institut von David Perrett über die Beziehung der neuronalen Aktivität im superioren temporalen Sulcus (STS) eines Makaken und der Wahrnehmung von visuellen Reizen. Im italienischen Parma untersuchte er die Rolle der Spiegelneuronen bei Berührungen und Ekel. Seit 2004 ist er Professor am Medical Center Groningen. Am Niederländischen Institut für Neurowissenschaft im Amsterdam leitet er das "Social Brain Lab".
