At the University Hospital of Neurology in Freiburg, all neurological disorders – from Alzheimer’s disease to multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, stroke, and tick-borne borreliosis—are diagnosed and treated using state-of-the-art methods.
Research in neurology and neurophysiology, as well as clinical studies on Parkinson’s disease, stroke, multiple sclerosis, and neurointensive care, aim to help better understand these conditions in order to identify optimal treatment options.
The Department of Neurology is also responsible for training students at the University of Freiburg in neurological disciplines and for training medical students to become neurologists.
