We study molecular mechanisms of neuronal communication with a particular focus on synaptic plasticity, sensory physiology, and the operation of neuronal circuits in the context of adaptive behaviour. To this end, we engage neuro- and optogenetic approaches, electrophysiology, behavioural readouts, and super-resolution light microscopy. Use the links to find out more about our current projects.
